Bahama Woodstar hummingbirds hover among oversized hibiscus blooms while flashes of blue morpho and Great Southern White butterflies create contrast throughout the composition. Hand-drawn in our Colorado studio, the design is framed by palm leaves and delicate frangipani blossoms that bring rhythm and balance to the artwork.

Inspired by the vibrant tropical flora and fauna of the Caribbean islands, this design features Bahama Woodstar hummingbirds (Nesophlox evelynae), iridescent blue morpho butterflies, Great Southern White butterflies (Ascia monuste), oversized hibiscus blooms, palm leaves, and delicate frangipani flowers framing the border — all originally illustrated and hand-drawn in our Colorado studio.
Each motif was created following extensive research into the region’s natural beauty, color, and movement before being translated onto silk by skilled artisans in Italy.
